Iker Lecuona will make his MotoGP debut one race earlier than expected by replacing the injured Miguel Oliveira at this weekends Valencia Grand Prix!
The 19 year old Spaniard, who races in Moto2, has recently been confirmed at Tech 3 next year alongside Oliveira but due to the Portuguese’s scary accident at Phillip Island, Oliveira will not be racing at Valencia.
“To have this opportunity in my home Grand Prix is a proud moment for me. We must enjoy this beautiful experience, but above all learn as much as possible for the future.”
American Sean Kelly will replace Lecuona’s seat at the American Racing Team in Moto2 alongside Joe Roberts.
Lecuona will then test the Tech 3 KTM on the 19th and 20th November at Valencia ahead of the 2020 season where he will ride the Tech 3 KTM for a full time basis.
