The Ferrari Formula 1 simulator driver and Toyota World Endurance Team regular Brendon Hartley to go electric for the 2019/2020 season.
Former Toro Rosso driver Brendon Hartley has been announced as part of the Dragon Racing line up for the 2019/2020 season of Formula E.
Having previously done testing for the Porsche factory team, he was seen as a contender for the manufacturers own line up.
“I’m happy to be taking on a new challenge in Formula E together with Dragon Racing. Formula E is totally different from any other race series I’ve been in, but I am hoping my experience in many categories with energy management will pay dividends and give me a head start as a rookie.I’m happy to be taking on a new challenge in Formula E together with Dragon Racing.”Brendon Hartley
It is not yet clear who will be joining Brendon Hartley in the second seat for Dragon Racing or which seat will take priority for Hartley when Formula E and WEC clash.
